Hi All,
Just wanted to remind you that we are doing events to keep
attention on the war. This Friday (the 26th) there'll be
another honk and wave at US 1 and SW 17th ave from 4ish to
6ish (afternoon). The one two Fridays ago was incredibly
successful. About 20 people attended and the response was
overwhelmingly good. This will be a chance to help out our
friends who will be in Washington DC on Saturday so if you
can't make it to DC, you can to this one.
There'll also be another Arlington memorial event on South
Beach (between 10th and 8th Sts.) on Ocean Dr. from Friday
Feb. 2nd thru Sunday, Feb. 4th (Superbowl weekend). We'll be
setting up 2500 memorial markers as we've done in the past
and we're looking for volunteers to help especially with the
set up on Friday morning as this is the most labor intensive
part. Please help out if you can by coming or finding
friends to help. There should be press from all over the
world who are there to cover the Superbowl so this will be an
important one.
